CEREBRO™: Real-time active fan control

The predictive and reactive system of CEREBRO™ operates based on a series of algorithms that manage, and at times even overlap to enhance computing capacity and precision, entire process systems. For example, Eolo System is dedicated to managing variable speed with constant pressure or temperature. Its predictive capability analyzes, on a per-second basis, the operating point during atmospheric emissions from tribo probes, or the clogging status of filtering systems. Thanks to the StepHertz function, it allows the definition of an acceleration scale based on the settings in the frequency converter — yet adjustable directly by the system operator, who is the only one who truly knows how to make their machinery perform at its best.
At the operator’s fingertips in real time
Cerebro has been developed with the goal of making existing technology more flexible and accessible. The software is a user interface designed for any operator, always active, compatible with all operating systems and the latest-generation hardware, and ready to run via LAN or 3G/4G connection. With this technology, maintenance staff can check filter health at any time, adjust pulse cleaning delay times, switch between automatic and manual modes, or control pause times for post-cleaning, all from a phone or computer. Its SSL-encrypted protections and a crash recovery support site with no direct bridge to the end user ensure maximum usability and security, making it an indispensable companion in the workday of operators responsible for process system safety and functionality, across companies of vastly different sizes and characteristics. Changing the parameters of a frequency converter without opening the control panel door and risking live work? Now it’s possible. CEREBRO™ offers several setup options, including external, and especially remote, parameter adjustment for the frequency converter, operator panels, and numerous external devices, with variable functions depending on user needs. And how could a system so focused on plant health be without its own trusted doctor? eMI™, the Eolo Monitor Interface, instantly updates us on anything out of the ordinary, decoding frequency converter error messages in real time. All monitored elements are visible, and any abnormal event, from thermal trips to exceeding the filter pressure warning threshold, is immediately reported. Meanwhile, AirFlow allows us to check and monitor the fan’s characteristic curve and the plant’s operating point. The system operates exclusively with preloaded curve data provided by MZ Aspiratori SpA.
